How would you describe your travel experience and journey in Bhutan?

The trip to Bhutan was a journey to heal my soul and reframe my life perspectives. I did not expect the trip to be so relaxing that I got to recharge myself properly. I feel that the trip has also helped me become a better person in many ways.

How would you describe your travel experience and journey in Bhutan?

I love the simplicity of the Bhutanese people, their devotion to Buddhism, filial piety and respect for the elderly people. Aside from that, I also admire their environmental awareness and their respect for the King, royal family, and His Holiness, the Chief Abbot. The Bhutanese people are very respectful and helpful to visitors, which is why I love visiting the Kingdom.

What was your first impression of the country?

My first impression was that there is no other place on earth like the enigmatic ‘Land of the Thunder Dragon’. I recall being struck by the nation’s sensational mixture of the stunning, rugged countryside, centuries-old architecture, vibrant and colourful culture, and the genuinely kind and welcoming Bhutanese whom I encountered everywhere.
